Located on the shores of the St. Lawrence River, Quebec is a city with attractive features and a distinct French charm. It is quite scenic, especially when seen from the Breakneck Stairs. The narrow cobblestone streets are filled with small shops and cafes. It's a great neighborhood to explore with a camera. The Basilica Notre Dame de Quebec is the oldest church in the Americas north of Mexico. The Museum of Civilization is an excellent place to learn about Quebec's Aboriginal peoples.
