Day 1: Arrival In New Delhi

Traditional welcome at the airport by our representative and driver, followed by transfer to your hotel. (Rooms will be available from 12:00 PM). Overnight stay at the hotel. (Meals: N/A)

Day 2: Delhi

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a city tour of Delhi, the most populated and cosmopolitan city in India, a place of a thousand colors. Originally, there were seven ancient cities in New Delhi, and the combination of these seven historic cities reflects the contrasts of this incredible nation. We begin the day with a visit to Jama Masjid, located in the heart of Old Delhi. Afterwards, we will explore the lively alleys of the city by rickshaw, where numerous bazaars are found, allowing us to experience together the colors, sounds, and aromas—our first immersion into this wonderful country. We dive into the chaos of Chandni Chowk, the nerve center of the old city: a chaotic mix of shops, street vendors, monkeys, sacred cows, street food stalls, improbable electrical wires, and many other curiosities beyond imagination. On the way back, we pass in front of the Red Fort (exterior view), built by Emperor Shah Jahan. In the afternoon, a panoramic tour passing by India Gate and continuing towards Rashtrapati Bhawan, the presidential residence. We will also visit the great Sikh temple Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, for a first encounter with Indian mysticism. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (Meals: Breakfast and dinner included)

Day 3: Delhi – Agra (240 Kms /4–5h)

After breakfast at the hotel, departure by road to Agra, an iconic city and a must-visit destination on any trip to India, where the very essence of love can be felt. Radiant during the reign of the Mughal emperors, the famous “City of the Taj” was once the capital of their powerful empire. Passionate about architecture, the Mughals built here some of the most remarkable monuments in the world. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the majestic Agra Fort, former residence of the Mughal emperors. Built on the banks of the Yamuna River, this impressive fortress is surrounded by walls rising between 20 and 33 meters in height and extending for nearly 2,500 meters in perimeter. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (Meals: Breakfast and dinner included)

Day 4: Agra – Abhaneri – Jaipur (250 Kms / 5h)

After breakfast, departure for a visit to the Taj Mahal. On the banks of the Yamuna River, Emperor Shah Jahan had the Taj Mahal built in memory of his favorite wife. It is the most perfect jewel of Indo-Persian art and is part of the wonders of world heritage. It truly represents the story of a great love. It possesses a magical charm, with the rectangular pool lined with cypress trees reflecting the image of the monument. At the end of the visit, departure towards Jaipur. En route, stop at Chand Baori to discover the splendid architecture of the stepwell of Abhaneri. Built in the 8th century, this ingenious structure is one of the largest and oldest stepwells in the world. Its geometric patterns, impressive depth, and captivating history make it a marvel that reflects the artistic and technical genius of ancient India. Continue to Jaipur. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (Meals: Breakfast and dinner included)

Day 5: Jaipur – Amber Fort – Jaipur

After breakfast, departure for a visit to Amber Fort. During the Mughal era, the region had to be prepared for war at any moment. Amber was the residence of the Maharajas, and by observing the defensive forts surrounding the area, one can imagine the power of its rulers. Ascent and descent along the fort walls by jeep (if more than 4 participants). Visit the palace, with its rooms decorated with mirrors and the former harem, a true labyrinth. Today we will also visit textile printing workshops using wooden blocks, where you can have your own garments made during the day. The art of block printing: woodblock printing is an ancient manual technique from Rajasthan in northern India. In the afternoon, visit the astronomical observatory Jantar Mantar, a collection of 19 astronomical instruments built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II, founder of Jaipur, in Rajasthan. The monument was completed in 1734 and includes the world’s largest stone sundial. It is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, we will pass in front of the famous Hawa Mahal, with its iconic red façade, and explore the “Pink City,” the residential and business district. Rickshaw ride through the old city of Jaipur. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (Meals: Breakfast and dinner included)

Day 6: Jaipur – Jodhpur (350 Kms /5h)

After breakfast, departure towards Jodhpur. Upon arrival, begin the city tour of Jodhpur, including the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, a fortress that offers panoramic views of the city. We will also visit Jaswant Thada, a beautiful white marble memorial dedicated to the rulers of Jodhpur. Next, we will explore the old market of Jodhpur, where local handicrafts and traditional flavors captivate the senses. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (Meals: Breakfast and dinner included)

Day 7: Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur (250 Kms / 4–5h)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards Udaipur. En route, visit the Ranakpur Jain Temple, located in a valley of the Aravalli range. It is one of the most remarkable Jain temple complexes in India, with intricate carvings in white marble that resemble delicate lace. The craftsmanship is so fine that it appears more like goldsmith work than stone carving. Continuation of the journey to Udaipur, the “White City,” considered the most romantic city in Rajasthan. Here, there is no imposing citadel, but rather the serene charm of a garden city reflected in the waters of its lakes, with the Aravalli hills as a spectacular backdrop. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (Meals: Breakfast and dinner included)

Day 8: Udaipur

After breakfast, exploration of the city of Udaipur, the White City. In the morning, city tour: the palace overlooking the lake, the City Palace, 500 meters long, is an immense labyrinth of rooms, halls, courtyards, gardens, and terraces. It was built during the reign of Udai Singh in the 16th century. Today, part of it has been converted into a museum, another into a hotel (Shiv Niwas), and the rest is still inhabited by the descendants of the Maharana. From the palace, there is a splendid view of Lake Pichola and its two islands, including the one on which the famous Lake Palace stands. Boat ride on Lake Pichola (in case of insufficient water level, we reserve the right to cancel the boat ride in Udaipur), a freshwater artificial lake created in 1362, named after the nearby village of Picholi. It is one of the many contiguous lakes that have developed over the centuries in and around the famous city of Udaipur. Visit to Saheliyon ki Bari, meaning “Garden of the Maidens,” built by Maharana Sangram Singh in the 18th century for the royal women. In the afternoon (if time permits), visit to a miniature painting workshop: the art of miniature painting is an ancient technique originating from northern India. As an art of kings, the rulers of the time used it to document their exploits. The most prolific center of these paintings is found in Udaipur, in the state of Rajasthan. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (Meals: Breakfast and dinner included)

Day 9: Udaipur (Flight) Delhi (2h)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Jagdish Temple and Gangaur Ghat. In the late afternoon, transfer to Udaipur airport to take your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, reception by our driver and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (Meals: Breakfast and dinner included)
