Ijen Crater & Plantation

Day 1: Banyuwangi

SOUTH BALI – IJEN (Lunch, *Dinner)
Depart in the morning to Gilimanuk Harbor passing through the scenic west coast, another exotic and natural slice of the island. During the journey, you can make a quick stop for photos on some interesting spot like rice fields, rustic villages or beaches. Then you will cross the strait to Java by ferry for approximately an hour.
After that, proceed to Ijen for overnight.

Day 2: Banyuwangi

IJEN (Breakfast, Lunch, *Dinner)
There will be an early wakeup call and after breakfast start driving to Licin village and then proceed to Mount Ijen passing through plantations and rainforest. Stop by at the ranger’s post before hiking up to the slope of the crater. It will take about two hours to go around the rim of the crater. You can enjoy the breath-taking view and also the beauty of the sulfuric lake which reflect the magnificent color over the surrounding walls. After that, return to your hotel for lunch and overnight in hotel.

Ijen - Closed on Friday at the 1st week of each month

Day 3:

IJEN – PLANTATION – HARBOR - SOUTH BALI (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast in the hotel, visit the beautiful coffee plantation which was established during the Dutch colonization in Banyuwangi. This town has a significant numbers of plantations like coffee, cocoa, clove and rubber which still run very well and represent the most important resources of the area. This visit also will see the coffee planting process and also the daily life of the farmers. Lunch will be served in local restaurant before crossing the strait and proceed to south area of Bali.
