Seul je glavno mesto Južne Koreje. Iz vsakega zidu izžareva azijski čar, Seul je zelo sodobno mesto, a hkrati tradicionalno. V tem živahnem mestu je veliko za videti in početi, ponuja mnogo vrednih znamenitosti, okusno gastronomijo, arhitekturo, nočno življenje, muzeje, kulturo, zabavo, nakupovanje in odprte prostore, ki zadovoljijo vsakega obiskovalca. Reka Hangang loči Seul na dve različni območji, sever in jug. Mesto leži v naravni kotlini, obkroženo z gorskim obsegom Hanbuk in vrsto hribov, ki ponujajo veličastno naravno lepoto, ki je eden glavnih adutov Seula. Kot starodavno središče korejske kraljeve družine so po mestu razpršene številne palače in trdnjave. Nekatere najpomembnejše so Gyeongbok-gung, Changdeok-gung in Deoksu-gung.
